20k Maintenance / Dealer ?

I was quoted by two different local dealers for less than $700. However, I'm not sure if they included the brake flush 
. I'll be hitting the 2 yr mark in July verse the miles.
My question is, are you guys just adding the brake flush or is it part of the 2 yr maintenance?

If you didn't mention it, the dealer likely did not include it in the quote. Just let them know that you need an annual service (oil, filters and inspection items) plus a brake fluid change. $700 sounds a little low for dealer pricing, with the brake fluid flush it'll probably be closer to $1,000.

You owned an expensive car and the cost for dealership service with the free expresso and hot receptionist is catering to the guy/gal who doesnt look at the bill.
They have huge overhead to keep the marketing program and development going. Same work down the street at a good Indy shop doesnt have the overhead, free expresso or hot receptionist but they can do the same work for much less. Free market. As others have said no issue with warranty as long as you have reciepts of work done.
Simpe choice really.

+1. Even if $$$ were falling out of my pocket, I would still DIY. It’s so simple even a caveman can do it. I’d rather give $1,725 to a homeless dude. Yeah, DIY or find a Indy shop.

Hall this true. But keep in mind that if you use a indie to do major work (20k, 40k etc) your dealer will try to ding you in your trade in. When I tried to trade in my on Targa with 43k miles on it , we agreed on price. Then he was called away by his manger and reduced my trade in by 2K because I used a indie (all ex Porsche mechanics from NJ) for the 40K. Claims he would have to redue the service to CPO it. Obviously they list my trade in and purchase. And most likely servicing on my new car. ��*♂️

Just did 4 year/40k which is the 2yr/20k plus spark plug change and engine air filter change and I had them replace instead of just inspect the serpentine belt 20K/2 years early for $1200 at a dealer in Alabama. I did the two cabin air filters myself. They charge a lot in NYC I guess.

I can understand why someone would be hesitant to do anything that requires removing the bumper, but most of other kinds of maintenance on these cars is absurdly easy. Oil change takes 20 minutes, brake pads 20-30 minutes a side (15 if you eliminate the wear sensors), oil flush 30 minutes tops. I do around 15 track days a year, and I estimate I'm saving at least $5,000 a year doing all that myself. Even if you don't track the car you'll still save a few thousand during the time you own it.
