People charge the Porsche tax because too many of us pay ridiculous sums to have work performed. I had an beltronics remote with escort laser shifting system installed for $500. If took 9 hours of labor. $500/9= $55 an hour for labor which is more than fair to the installer. I see 5K for a radar detector install and I have to think that someone is partaking in crack.

As a cabriolet owner, it was important to me to have my radar detector completely concealed. Sometimes I park the car and leave the top down for a little while. I don’t want people to be tempted to steal something as obvious as a radar detector on the windshield.
I’m very happy with my Escort Max 360 CI, and with the custom mirror display.

Does anyone have an updated on this- whether the Max Ci 360 now defeats the latest version of Dragon Eye?
