991.1 front fender design versus 991.2
Does anyone know or care to speculate on why Porsche eliminated the 991.1's rising and falling arch line along the top of the front fender on the .2 models? This feature is highlighted graphically, in the PCM screen silhouette shot of the .1 Carerra, when you switch on the ignition, briefly. (The .2 models' top front fender line simply rises to meet the "A" pillar.)

I do like the 991.2 front bumper A LOT!! Cleaner lines by the brow-lights.

I think he's saying the digital image on the instrument cluster is different between the .1 and .2
