Also is any one from here going??? Sorta wish I knew more Porsche people, I am certain there will be great people participating but the rumor is the crowd is a bit older. Absolutely nothing against that... its just I am a bit younger (39) and would hate to feel like the odd man out.

Here is the link if any one cares to read up or better yet join the fun:

Thanks in advance for the input!

I'm in roughly the same boat as Minesh, I always feel like a bit of an outsider with Peachstate PCA because of my age (also on the younger end) and would really enjoy finding some driving buddies. I'm down in Buckhead and would love to meet up with people on the way up into the mountains.

I don't think you guys should feel on the outside based on age.

I typically run with a much older crowd and have found that I benefit a lot from their experiences.

Also these older guys like to have clean safe fun and are less likely to push from behind in an unsafe manner that can lead to accidents in the mountains.

I'm down in Buckhead too. I'm 41. Seems like you, Minesh, Christian and I are all around the same age.

I too am looking for a group to head up to the North GA mountains. I usually go up there once a month or two, and by myself cause none of my friends have a sports car.

I will try to put together a Facebook page for us Atlanta 911 Rennlisters so we can coordinate recreational driving.

This way we can go for a drive outside of the PCA event schedule if we want.

Here is the link to join our Atlanta Porsche Drivers Facebook page that I created. Once you join, then any of us can post to coordinate a weekend drive. We should also do a trip to the PEC some time.

I'm interested in participating in more locally organized drives, if non-911 owners are permitted. (I just submitted my request to join the FB group too.)

Request sent.

I live just north of you at Perimeter.

I tried to get a mtn drive together using the regional forum, and it was a flop. Seems that forum gets zero traffic. Lets get a drive going asap.

Requested to join the Facebook group. Name is Josef Bittner. This is the first time I've used Facebook since I got pressured into creating an account by my wife like 6 years ago.

Seems like we have critical mass now on the Facebook page. Suggest a drive there so we can all see.

I was thinking of this Sunday but it turns out it's mother's day!
