I wonder if it's possible to use PearlAuto's camera with the NavTV interface?
The iPhone dependency makes Pearl a no-go for me - I'm not going to staple my phone to the dash. Plus the issues with the ODB port.
I really want the seamless integrated experience of NavTV but without the hassle of running a wire and drilling.

Understand if it doesn't work for you. But the ease of a vent holder for the IPhone and the flat cord extensions for the OBD port make install and use a breeze. For me spending the $$$ on an integrated nav camera that I could spend other places on the car don't work.
But to each his own.

The NavTV camera connects to the module by RCA connector. You would have to find out if there is a video output from the PearlAuto OBD module that you can tap into and run a wire to the NavTV module. You would also have to provide power to the PearlAuto module since I assume you don't want to plug it into the car's OBD port. I don't know what other difficulties you would run into.
I didn't want to drill my bumper too. In the end, I decided that it was the best way to do it. It's easy to do and not a big deal.
