Tomorrow I'm thinking seriously about going to trade my 991.2 S for a 991.2 Turbo. Taking a big hit on the depreciation and having a little pre-deal buyer's remorse. I asked you guys about this before and it turned into a thread about Mclarens.
Talk me me out of this or tell me I won't regret it.

This time let me bring up something else: If you drive through speedtrap infested cities like Milton, Gwinnett, Cumming stay far away from the Turbo! My ticket fines have probably paid for a brand new Cop Dodge Charger for those cities.

Always a bigger fish out there. Think of all the 991TT owners, drooling when a 918 goes by...

You won't regret it... No need to go Mach V, every traffic light has the potential of bringing you a huge smile. These beasts literally feel like the front end comes off the ground.
Just the sight of the huge air intakes on the gorgeous hips each time you look in the side mirrors is awesome!

This was a good start
I have traded up in power several times over the years so I understand the urges that hit you in the groin and make your stones ache. It is easy to get used to a powerful car to the extent that you feel the need for something faster because what you have now grown accustomed to the power and it seems like it just isn't cutting it anymore. So you get a .2 T and after a while those same stones tell you that a .2 TS is what you really need. Where does it end and to what purpose does it serve to go bigger? If it is recognition you seek, I would guess that only P-car owners/enthusiasts will know that you have a T versus a S.
Only you can make this decision, it just depends on which head has the most influence. Good luck.

I posted this somewhere else in another thread, but to me it is worth repeating. I traded cars with my buddy for a weekend. He has a .2 T and I have a .2 S. I was very happy to get my car back. The .2 S has plenty of power for most every fun and safe application. That said...
