Current delivery date of my 4 GTS is September 15 and I have to decide on PEC in May while config is still possible. Has anyone actually taken delivery at the LA PEC? Porsche website (and configurator) only shows possibility for Atlanta and Europe.

I don't believe its possible to take delivery at LA PEC, only Atlanta within the US.

I've heard the LA PEC delivery will start in the beginning of 2018.

Asking cuz my SA is encouraging using the delivery process at LA PEC. It could be he is just assuming it's open for that. He described the documented process for Atlanta but we're talking LA. I've sent an email to the Porsche address asking about this. I'll give them a few days and let you all know.

I'm not particularly enamored with going to LA vs Seattle to get the car. I'm remote to the dealer so have to travel either way. Just thinking dealer would be better to take care of any issues. OTOH, the PEC may do an extra special delivery process and make sure the car is better than 100%. Hence the question. I suppose Atlanta PEC delivery customers would have some advice as well.

Porsche PEC wrote back today and said that LA PEC deliveries will start in Q1 of 2018. So not possible for me with a September delivery.

They went on to suggest Atlanta and pointed out this interesting tidbit... only 400 can be delivered in a year at the Atlanta PEC. Two per day, Tuesday through Friday.
