Gorgeous PTS color: Macademia Metallic

This looks similar to the Turbo featured in last month's Excellence magazine. I personally look for Porsches not so much by the exterior colour alone but the whole package, the combination of the wheels, brakes, options, interior etc... and this one, IMO, knocks it out of the part. Beautiful. I would drive this car. But take away the two-toned interior, the full leather, or the PCCBs, or the black "Fuchs", and the package falls apart. This car will look GREAT in years to come, even if the brown gets dated. Now to find one off a 3-year lease, and with the MRSP of $249K, a price somewhere south of $199...

I'm on my second brown 911! I owned a Macadamia Brown Metallic 997 Turbo cabriolet, and I now own a Mahogany Brown Metallic 991 Turbo S cabriolet. I think both are awesome. Brown is an interesting color for a Porsche, and one with lots of history. I like it because it's unique and rich looking, without being too flashy.

Agreed. Spec out a brown PTS car and there's a good chance you'll be the guy in the classifieds right now with the Cognac Metallic Panamera Turbo. $100k off MSRP and it still hasn't moved in 3 months.

Wow so many opinions against brown cars! I always thought Brown is a timeless, desirable color. I was going to order Mahogany Metallic before being swayed last minute by Graphite Blue.
However watching this video made me feel like getting a second car with Brown on it.

Care to share your impressions of the two colors and may be some more photos too?
Thanks!

Dennis, you are the god I never knew existed. These two are my dream colors. I was swayed at the last minute by Graphite Blue + Chalk combo, but definitely going to consider Macadamia or Mahogany for next car.

I love the graphite blue paint too.
