I bought a base low option/manual 991.2 last week, as a commuter car.

Takes many pictures and keep a copy of the estimate for your future buyers. If it's minimal it shouldn't hurt resale, but you need documentation. Do you file an accident report? Did you get an estimate? Keep in mind body shops may try to claim more damage than necessary to make more money. In this situation less is more! Good luck!

Not only should you definitely fix it, but do a search for a thread entitled something like "So You Think It's Just a Simple Bumper Repair' and read it all. Then call a Porsche Certified collision center. Do not take it to someone who doesn't specialize in Porsches and is not certified.

Yep, there is a lot of damage that cane hiding behind there. Get it checked out just to be sure. The impact bars could have been impacted, it doesnt take too much honestly.

Sorry to hear about the accident. If you leased the car it will have to be fixed otherwise there will be a penalty at the end of the lease. Alternatively if the car was purchased if will suffer additional depreciation from a CarFax report. Either way returning the car 100% to it's condition before the accident is the least that should be expected.
