pics of painted Sportdesign wheels?
anyone painted or changed the color of their Sportdesign wheels? I couldnt easily find pictures....I like-dont love- the wheels but Id rather try changing the color than buy new wheels altogether.
I dont know if there are new or old versions but Im talking about these ones

If its of any consequence - mine have grown on me big time although I like my color combo(car is guards red) better.
Have you considered photo chop? A dark grey would look nice but not something as close in shade as what you currently have. I'm not a fan of these in black but YMMV as I know others would likely disagree with me on this - its personal taste.

Same thought......some dark grey or charcoal color. It a silver car so i need it dark enough to look different from the silve but not black
id also like to see if anyone tried to keep some of the 'spokes' unpainted amd how that might look ...like the middle of the 3 spokes

ok, now were talking
Neil, how did you get the 'silver' line around the edge. was this left unpainted or is that one of the rim protector bands Ive seen before? I like that look to offset too much black

The cost of painting them would literally pay for one new wheel. If you bought a set for 2200 in same size as yours then you can use the tires from your stock set. So technically less the $600 you would have paid to get them painted the wheels are costing you $1600 plus $100 for install. You could sell those in the future and get back your $1600 all day. This will also preserve the stock wheels. Dealers like stock. Just my opinion. These are what I'm looking at as for wheels for my 14 911 T
