POLL: Which headlight design do you prefer?
I would like to know which headlight do all 991.1 or 991.2 owners prefer? I personally like and ordered the PDSL (xenon) as it comes in a black housing. The single bugeye look is signature to Porsche.

I like the look of LED lights and while most of my driving is in the city, I still think they provide better light than Xenon on darker roads. Having said that, the option list had to stop somewhere so I didn't tick that box on my order. I did think about it though after watching Nick Murrays YouTube video comparing both systems, but my order had already fixed. There seems to be no end to the money you can spend on these cars.

I had PDLS+ on my 991.1 TT and loved everything (except price) about them.
They are standard on my incoming TTS but this time I'm going with them in black, which is likely a choice predicated best by the car's colour choices.
No bad choice in LED... and yes kayjh, there's no end to the money you can throw at your Porsche build!!

I have PDLS Xenons on my .2 and I have accustomed to liking it since I had PDLS on my MacanT. It's turning into a must-have for me I guess... now as for my .2 GT3 on order, I chose PDLS+LED but on the fence whether to tick off black or not. I still have at least a couple of months before this build locks so that's a good conundrum to lose sleep on.
I'd recommend PDLS at a minimum nowadays especially if you will end up using your car more often than not in dark areas or on unwell lit roads and specifically if there are curves/bends. It's not a dire necessity but it can certainly assist. I think of the PDLS design, whether Xenons or LEDs, as form follows function.

Whether its LEDs in black or not depends upon the color scheme of the car. With GT Silver, I prefer the standard LEDs vs the black. But, if my interior were black, along with other black trim, then black would work fine.
So, the real question should be whether one prefers Standard, PDLS, or PDLS+(LED)

Standard. Hate the nipples.

I was going to get the PDLS Xenons, because it is way brighter than Halogens we all drove for decades and never felt the need for more power.
However family loved the look of LEDs. They say it looks more "with the times" and is "clearly prettier" (I didn't tell them the price, just asked which one is better). So my build ended up with PDLS LED. Another option family talked me into is "Enter and Drive", although personally I prefer turning a key.
Decision by committee is always expensive I guess!

Also, the four point DRL leds imo look better with the standard PDLS. I would have spent the extra money if the light ring in the LED glows more evenly like those seen on Audis.
