Hellcat vs 991.2 Carrera S

Three Wheelin'
Definitely a 4s- light bar gives it away.
Not too surprised- those hellcats are heavy and quite a bit of trouble putting the power to any use. It also sounded like that particular hellcat had some work done.

Race Car
The Hellcat is pretty fast. There was one on the track at Barber yesterday. On the main straight I had to to tell Scotty to give me all he had so that I could get him in the next passing zone

It's all about getting the power down.
I would expect any 991.2 PDK SC C4S to beat any street legal Hellcat because of the tires, AWD and Launch Control.
The launch is just brutal from the 991.2 C4S with PDK SC.
Put drag slicks on the Hellcat, it will be closer but time and time again street legal Hellcats just can't get the power down.
Now the new Dodge Demon will probably end all that!-Richard

What a wonderful time we live in for performance automobiles. In the motor trend drag race above the slowest car ran a 12.4. Impressive! Not many cars ran in the 12's 10-20 years ago and now it's the norm.

The hellcat guy that was using the contiguous box to mine in a driving event in homestead y July had to waive the last two sessions of the day due to his tires being melting... That thing is way too heavy for track days...

Nothing wrong with choosing a Viper, or a Corvette, Porsche, Lotus, Ferrari, whatever your personal choice of sports car is. A car like a Hellcat that has no purpose beyond the headline horsepower figure is only bought for overcompensation though. I hope it comes with a nice small steering wheel to match the small hands that drive it.

I normally agree there's no way I'd take a dodge over a Porsche... but I may have to take a long hard look if the demon can't put even a decent fraction of that power to the ground. It won't be a keeper but my have some fun S n Gs for a year or two
