991.1 C4 Brake Upgrade
i currently have a 2014 C4 and from what I know the C4S has the 6 piston calipers with larger 340 rotors.
1 - what else would be needed for this outside of the calipers and rotors/pads?
2 - would this upgrade be worth it? i don't plan to use on the track but having driven both prior to purchase you can tell the difference with the larger brakes.
TIA

"Worth it" - only you can know that. But if it was my car and money there's no way I'd pay to have this done. Whatever it costs couldn't provide me enough enjoyment to offset the money.
If you're dead set on a brake upgrade I guess I'd look at some aftermarket options rather than paying the Porsche price.

Do you think the larger rotors are going to stop you faster in street driving? Nope. Your limiting component wont be your calipers/rotors.....it will be your tire's grip. Not worth it.

That truly isn't a bad price for an upgrade.
Might want to check the classified to see if anyone is selling their S brakes when they went bigger.

I just did this upgrade on my car. I have a 2014 Carrera (Base - 3.4). I have not noticed a difference in normal street driving. I'll let you know about whether it makes the difference on the track after Sebring at the end of April . The bigger calipers up front and red paint do look fantastic though!

awrryan - Did you powder coat the rears or just paint them?

I was looking at it compared to the cost of new rotors and pads and thought for the extra $ it might be worth it from Suncoast. There are a couple people selling used on ebay for much more and used.

Buying the complete set off of e-bay might be the way to get both front and rears.
