Default 991.1 v 991.2 cosmetic questions

for those who own 991.2s, are the headlights that we all replace from the ugly yellow to the much more fetching clear the same>?

also for those who have installed the grills from rennline, do you think they will fit on the new 991.2?

because if not i'm going to have some for sale!

I doubt if the grills will fit. The 991.2 has the flaps.

i think these flaps would be in the rear of the grills but i'm not sure. it could be that the 991.2 has eliminated the need for the grills, which for me have been a godsend in the fall as i no longer have a compost bin in the front of my rig.

maybe they aren't needed anymore?

The clear side markers WILL fit.

The Rennline grills will not. They are almost finished and ready to release the .2 version.

ah thanks thats helpful. i wonder if the grills are a must have option given the aero flaps. would you get them?

before i had the grills installed i felt like my car as pacman permanently stuck mouth wide open just scooping up every little thing right into the radiators. scary

Grills a must have? No. Nice to have? Yes.

Haven't seen them on a .2 obviously or how they'll pull it off. Still no opinion on them yet.

do you have them on your .1? i suppsed the GTS may be unique in that the front was wide open to the elements, not sure if that was the case for the other variants.

i think it was a design flaw that should have been factory fixed honestly.

Yes on my .1

Really like them.

They have different versions for the .1

Standard bumper and Sport Design one. Also options for center radiator for X51 powerkit cars.
