Stay away from those 2017's. No deals there.

Either spend like $75k -$85K on a 991.1 S/4S, like $112K on a 991.1 GTS, or get the TT.

So I'm assuming you wouldn't lease one either? I just want something with a warranty. So a 15 MY should be ok.

Don't know the miles, but those 991.2's won't fair very well in my opinion.

Long term, 991.1 S/4S/GTS and 991.1 Turbo/Turbo S will do well.

Champion has a 16 GTS 4500 miles I could get for 114k. Your saying this should not lose much each year ?

Seriously, the 991.1's are VERY reliable. I'd be ok out of warranty. We've discussed this at length.

I would NOT lease personally.

I regret selling mine. Huge mistake. But ok make the best by looking hard at a turbo. I'm thankful my buddy will find me one at wholesale price.

The GTS's have been very strong. Not sure what the next 2-5 yrs look like. Long term, 991.1's will do better 991.2's being last of the NA Carreras.

Good luck. If you like Turbos, get a nice deal on a 991.1 TT/TTS. Beast of cars, and will hold values above $100K for quite a while.

Gotta run. That's my take on it. Others will have different opinions I'm sure. Choose wisely and get what's right for you.

My view:

I wouldn't need the TTs power, so I'd drop that car off the list. The friends C2S is 15% off and is a 991.2. If it is well cared for and low kms, it has 3 years of warranty left and at $107,000 from a $125,000 MSRP, plus PDI, is a decent deal.

In the end, I found the C2 has plenty of power for me and this car has the lowest cost and would have the lowest loss of $ relative to the others while you figure out if it is the right car for you.

I'd get the C2.

So are you saying you would get the used C2 that I mentioned for 94,000. It has a 118 sticker.

I think you should go drive it first. It may be all the car you need and regardless of the "deals" on the C2S and the 991.1 based 2014 TT, those cars may end up being pointless for your intended use and needs.

Its the lowest cost of entry. But, there is a value to increased performance (C2S, TT) so that is a decision you have to make.

I somehow sense that you'd like to get into a 911 and at the same time keep the budget reasonable. the 991.2 C2 has about the same performance as the 2016 C2S. Why not make the C2 your starting point and drive each of the 3 cars. After that you'll know which one you want.

sound logical advice there. totally depends on how you use it. I have a .1 C2S that I drive to the airport about once a month and on errands here and there. a C2 would probably have done as well. Of course, a sentra would too, but whats the point of that
