Breckenridge-
I feel is a more authentic town than Vail.
Lodging-If it's just a night the Marriott is in walking distance to the restaurants and bars.
Restaurants- Modis has a great selection of Bourbons. GREAT! - Hearthstone and Twist are also popular eating spots. The Briar Rose steakhouse is also a good place.

Glenwood Springs-
Dining: Pullman's is a really good spot with great food.

Have a great trip!

For a low key lunch in Glenwood, hit Slope and Hatch. Tacos and hot dogs that can't be beat. The spicy calamari taco is amazing. Grab a beer and enjoy! Also reccomended you hit Iron Mountain Hot Springs - much nicer than the old hot springs pool downtown. Great place to soak and relax. Enjoy your trip!

SR 92 is also a great road, running next to Gunnison Black Canyon for quite a ways.

And if you have a sushi craving, don't forget the Matsuhisa in Aspen. Expensive but terrific.

Family has a house in Ridgway which is about half way between Ouray and Telluride. Great little town with fantastic driving all around...right on your way from Red Mountain Pass / 550 to Telluride along Dallas Divide. House is for sale, but is available for rent (super flexible on dates). Pics can be seen below. If interested in a night or more, PM me and I can provide details.

If you stay in Cherry Creek you should check this "speakeasy" out:

http://denver.eater.com/2017/2/8/145...b-cherry-creek

Just make sure you follow the directions and text them by 3pm on the day you want to go, then just follow the instructions. Totally worth it and fun! Great cocktails too.

I enjoyed this thread, am moving to Denver in a few months. Does the altitude affect the driving noticeably in a 991 ?...I recently sold my 997.2 and am planning to buy a 991, but am debating holding off until I can afford a turbo.

I still have not found a definitive design/engineering explanation for the 991.2 turbo system, but mine sure feels strong at altitude.

I started buying forced induction cars when we moved to Colorado. It makes a huge difference.
