Hello ... particularly to fellow Canadians,

I'm located in Toronto area and have just ordered a new 2017 Targa 4 GTS. After ordering, I learned about Porsche Connect & Porsche Connect Plus.

These two options were not available when building my car.

Does this mean that the options are not available in Canada? Or does this mean the options are automatically a part of the 2017 911's PCM system?

I noticed that both these packages are visible as options under the Macan configurator (but not the 911 configurator). I'm, of course, using the Canada configurator in all cases.

Please help the confused! Thanks.

I believe it's the Apple car play feature, it's standard on all 17" 911(s), however, the google street view (3D map?) & live traffic isn't yet available (enabled) in Canada for some reason even it's almost 1 year now since the .2 911(s) were released to Canadian market.

Apple car play is awesome and all you need, better than Porsche apps. I have it in my 2017 Targa and it's all I need, plus it recharges my phone.

My SA says they are standard in Canada along with voice control.

FYI. Have been informed that Porsche Connect full suite of services will be launching in Canada in week 30 of 2017. You will need to have a SIM card for the car or have the car connect to your phone's data.
