Track time in Portland
Hi Folks,
The first "Track Night in America," event at PIR is Friday, April 14th - if you register during March, it's $50! Another $50 gets you an SCCA membership. Three 20-minute sessions.
I went to several of their events last summer, and I was the ONLY Porsche at 2/3, with about 70 cars in 3 classes circulating the track.
It's fun, and a very accessible track experience - if your machine and its tires are in good shape and you have a full-face helmet, then passing tech will be easy.
Anyway, it'd be great to meet some other 911 owners from in and around Portland....

In the first part of registration, you should disable the part about spending another $50 for the SCCA membership (not required), then it's just $50 for the track night.

Well, I tried again and it worked for me, with the price dropping from $100 to $50 at checkout. You do have to go through the add to cart and checkout, and the price drops at checkout to $50, assuming you declined SCCA membership, which you said that you did. Good luck!
