Video. ## 5 things every new 911 owner should know. Also Cayman and Boxster owners
A few tips I am sure new 911 owners will find useful, I know I wished I knew these when I got my first 911. Also a clip of me chasing my own car because I forgot the park brake like the idiot I am.
Thanks for watching friends.

What a close call......
I could just see that beautiful car scrape against the garage door while it was backing itself out of the garage.
I wonder how many folks did just what you did but would not admit it.

I agree the electric parking brake is a little confusing. However, it is consistent with most other non-electric parking brakes where the release lever is located under the dashboard and you engage the parking brake with a pedal to the left of the brake pedal. For these, you pull down to release the parking brake. So I can see the thought process.

Keep up the good work Nick.

Enjoyable as always. I was on your Youtube channel over the weekend. Two things:
1. Becky is adorable.
2. I want a PDK T-shirt in Large please. I laughed out loud when I saw it.
PM me with details if you're making any to sell.

Nice video!
I actually find the emergency brake to be intuitive. Push to turn on, pull to release (just like if it had been a cable mechanism versus electronic).
To have to use a spare battery connected to the fuse box to open the frunk is crazy. They really should have added an emergency release cable or something. (I have used a 991 to jump start another car and it worked fine but thankfully never needed a jump myself!)
I fit my MIL and SIL in the back seat all the time when I don't have my kids in there. They are both on the short side, though LOL!
The video of the car rolling back cracked me up....

Great video
Having had a battery failure soon after I had the new car, and stuck on a petrol forecourt, it has always worried me since how I would be able to start the car as on a manual car, the handbrake auto engages in case of power failure so you can't even push the car out of the way!

Incidentally, I could roll start my Boxster (986S) the one time it died, but my 2002 Turbo wouldn't start. I had a long, perfect hill for roll (bump) starting, long enough that I got three goes at it. Simply wouldn't start. And I'm an accomplished veteran of the art. I had an old 76 Mercury Capri II in college; I was always broke and I once went over two months without replacing a battery that was too dead to start the car. It quickly got to be second nature to never turn the car off until I had lined up my rolling takeoff for when I came back. Fortunately the Ga. Tech campus is pretty hilly.

Funny enough, I test drove Nick's "original" 991.1 at an Offleaseonly location in Fl a while ago! Luckily enough, I was not too quick to pull the trigger despite the great price and took some time to investigate on line, when I realized it was "the one"!
