Congratulations! Very nice car and awesome you were able to hit that milestone. I've had a similar passion from a similar (starting) age - albeit took a "few" years longer to attain my goal. Still not an official owner yet, but down from decades to mere days away for taking delivery.... exciting times!

Congratulations! At your age, you'll have a very privileged lifetime of Porsche experience by the time your peers are buying their 1st Porsche.

Welcome - I threw up in my mouth a little when you said 6 in 97'...

You'll love the car. Similar setup here with the same year 911 C2S although mines a Cab. I also have a 15 F10 with all of the M goodies, soft close doors. etc but got the 2.0t.

Any plans for the car? Clear corners? Exhaust? PPF or the like?

F10 is a fantastic people carrier, For now only plans I have are the clear corners, to be honest the PSE is already the perfect tone and volume for me, I doubt I will be changing the exhaust.

Keep hanging out here and you'll be tinkering in no time! For example... the Spasm lip on my car was <200 bucks and 4 screwed + 3 minutes of labor..... slippery slope.

Haha spasm lip really completes look of the car, my 991 must have spasm too then, because it came with that lip, I also have the sport and sport plus buttons on center stack.

Welcome to the community my friend! And beautiful car that is exactly how I would have it as well, save tfor the PDK for a few years as i haven't given up on my manual experience just yet haha. You aren't far away in NY, you should come down to our shop sometime! I'll give you a tour of the place and we can hit Cars and Coffee or something

Congrats dude! I'm 24 myself and own a 2013 C2S, so it's interesting to see a couple younger guys get into these cars. I owned 5 BMW's before this car, and the 911 will truly redefine how much joy a car can bring you.

Awesome!! Its always nice to meet like minded people that are my age, nothing makes me happier than seeing others who do well at a young age, and yes this car is one amazing machine, I intended for it to be a weekend car but it has taken the role of a daily driver unless I need to haul people around town, then I just take out the BMW. All in all this car has me grinning everytime Im behind the wheel.

So true. Two in the last two years and already on the configurator again. I need therapy.

To the OP, congrats, it's a beauty.

Whatever you do... don't click on the "what did you buy your 991 today," or HFS threads...

Sorry bud, you have PASM as your car has a smaller lip(non sport). No big deal and still a beautiful car.

This is your lip:

This is the SPASM lip that I bought after(Cabs can't have SPASM):

It is weird that the better one is almost 100$ less!
