Has anyone successfully spec'd the folding sport bucket seats in the new GTS cab?

not possible in the US....I've begged and cried to get buckets in my GTS and Porsche just doesn't care for us poor US GTS owners

That's what I suspected. You can add them on the Europe configurator, but not US. They look fantastic on the website.

I wonder if it has something to do with the warning on the Europe site that the sport bucket seats are not compatible with child seats.

From what I understand, every item that has to do with safety requires crash testing in both EU and USA markets. I've been told that it can be quite costly to crash test that many different options to satisfy the US safety standards.

Correct. New car cannot be sold in US with those seats but can be added afterwards. Safety related matter.

I tried to get the extended range fuel tank. No go, it's only homologated for the GT3/GT3RS.
