How many of us here are PCA members?

PCA member for 38 years.
Joined in 1979 while living in Reno while driving my second 911, only took me 8 years to join.
Have been in Reno, San Diego, Valley Oak and Sequoia regions over the years, served as region President two times.
I think Porsche Club was formed by the original guys driving little expensive "beetle-looking" 356 cars so their wives would all become friends at dinner meetings and not make then sell their Porsche and lose all their friends. Still seems to work . . .

Just joined yesterday. Found my 2010 GT3 the day after it was traded in with a Sharkwerks and PCA sticker on the left rear window and asked them to leave the stickers on before it went into the CPO process. After it was CPO'ed the Sharkwerks sticker was removed but the PCA sticker was left on. Actual Sharkwerks goodies were fortunately all left on.
It's impossible to drive this car within 20mph of freeway speed limits and really feel it was time finally to do some track time. Was always curious about the PCA and hoped it would be a good way to find some local track events. Digital copies of Panorama are nice. I spend almost all my time with my four kids and business. Oldest starts high school next year and it sucks to think he might be moving out very soon so even taking a half a day to go on a long drive is a really guilty pleasure. For now, waiting to see what adventures the PCA and GT3 take me.

15 year member. Been in multiple regions all over the country. Great resource and a lot of fun. Great driving and social events. If you have a region that doesn't quite meet your needs you can browse nearby regions and participate in their activities as well, just need your PCA card! The two Parades we attended were very memorable and well done. Moving back to the US this summer and looking forward to getting back into PCA. Porsche Club memberships in Germany are into the multiple hundreds of dollars to join, so PCA is a screaming good deal with a great magazine to boot.

Almost 27 years for me. Maverick region (safety chair), Alaska region (prez and vice-prez), Lone Star region, and now contemplating transfer to new region (given my new location could be Road Runner, Alpine Mountain, or even Rocky Mountain).

I really hope that those guys chose to delete their posts rather than having them deleted. PCA is a member driven community and the members should be able to comment on it. Ex members too.

For those members missing a PCA decal, send an email to admin@pca.org. Indicate if you prefer an outside or inside mount decal. We'll take care of you.
