8 year member. Make about half of the meetings (free dinner and 1st drink is on the club) which are 2nd Mon of every month. Our club has been doing an after Holiday party in Jan held at the dealership for 6-7 years now. Had about 100 in attendance last month. Very social & fun. I enjoy the magazine. I do a couple of drives (usually in the spring) and 3-4 HPDEs, always with PCA and prefer my own club (Ky region). We go to Putnam Park Road Course west of Indy twice a year. 2017 is 9-11 June and 8-10 Sep. Very well attended and sponsored by dealership. Food & drink provided at host hotel Fri & Sat nite. I guess each club has it's own character. I like mine a lot.

I joined a couple of years back, not an active member, so far, but I do read the newsletter from my local group and the Magazine from PCA.

Going on 18 years of membership. Local chapter is very active. I have done a few tech sessions. Life is a bit busy for me so I spend whatever I have with my wife and family. But would like to do more events. Most to all of the people I have met have been great people. Love the cars, friendly and willing to talk about experiences. Never disappointed when I do go to an event.

15-year PCA member, switched regions in Southern California several years ago which made a huge positive difference in my club experience.
I'm very active now, having served as my region's magazine editor since I retired a few years ago.
Our club is pretty busy with several events monthly. I try to attend most of them.
As others have said, the most active demographic in PCA seems to be the 60+ folks. I've made some great new friends via the club.

Member. Attend a few events a year. Worth the cost of admission for sure.

Been a member for about 3 years. I've been to one meeting. I would like to do a couple of DE's though. I bought me a helmet while I was at the 24 hrs of Daytona .

This is how I feel. I'm renewed when I bought the GT4 for three years. But unless I start to use their services, I doubt I'll renew. My region is mostly fluff and buff stuff whereas I'm interested in track. The events with groups like Rezoom, Chin, 1010ths are just easier and cheaper.

I was a member for the track days, but many organizations give much more track time than you get at a PCA event, so I saw no reason to continue membership once I stopped going to their track events.

Member here for 3 years. Feel bad for you guys with what seems like some lackluster chapters. I can relate, the BMW CCA chapter here in Houston is pretty tame compared to the Lone Star Region PCA. The Capital Region of the CCA in the D.C. area was more active.

This is a very active chapter. At least one GTG every weekend (Houston is freaking huge) and many events like autocross, track days, concours, drives in the Hill Country, dinners, etc. I wish I could say I've been more active, but since I got the 911 I've been more regular at GTG's and hope to do a drive this spring.

Also want to finally go to COTA for the WEC race. The PCA sponsors a great Porscheplatz at the race and the tickets for the package are very reasonable.

Carolinas is a good region, pretty active, with a lot of options of events. I've been a member for 16 years now and have done a lot of DEs and autocrosses along with some Fall tours and a couple of Parades. I was involved in Parade in 2008 when it was held in Charlotte and did the newsletter for a couple of years.

We are a big region so are broken into 6 areas around NC and SC. Participation varies depending on which area's monthly meetings you attend. I know that the Upstate (SC), Triad (Winston/Greensboro) and Metrolina (Charlotte) areas get a good turnout. And some of the bigger multi-day events/drives can sell out pretty quickly.

There is a strong core of people that you see all the time, but a lot of members come out once or twice then don't return. You really have to find someone you click with or share common interests or they may not see the need to come back.

With the exception of a 4 year gap while stationed overseas, I've been a member since 1984. I've seen many changes in PCA over the years. Some good, some bad. At my age I'm more interested in the GTG drives and social outings with old and new friends. If all you want to do is DE's, there are many choices other than PCA.

32 years here. Moved regions 3 times. I am currently in the Hurricane Region in RTP area of NC. Very active group with a good mixture of experienced, old, and not experienced. Lots of PCA supported events but also non-PCA supported spin-off events. Track, touring, social, community. Really good group.
