Default EZ Pass placement

Has anyone tried to stick it on the back of the rear view mirror? FWIW, I tried on the underside of the frunk lid. Did not read it.

I painted mine black and it is behind the mirror on the windshield. But have you looked into the readers that attach to the front license plate (if your state has a front plate)?

Are these still needed? I registered my plate and I don't even put the pass up anymore.

I placed mine on the windshield right in front of the mirror. I never see it unless I look for it.

I use the same cover. Although attached to the windshield off to the right a bit. It's tough to see from outside the car, mounted up high and totally blacked out.

This was part of my free dealer swag. It’s up behind the mirror so I don’t see it from inside and looks good from the outside too.

There was a poster who used the contents inside the plastic holder and placed it within the mirror (???). Think it may be in the what did you buy your 992 today.

i like this idea. pretty slick. i painted mine matte black and replaced the clear double sided tape with the black stuff then put it on the windshield just below the mirror. not totally invisible but sticks out far less than the white

Thanks to you f*ckers I looked up where I mounted it and it gave me pause. After a rabbit hole of googling, this is what I found to be the best solution so far.

That was my post but I like shogunades post above better.

Took it apart and the chip is only 20% of the volume of the IL iPass. I tucked the contents above the passenger mirror. Worked fine in the targa, even on the skyway which I find particularly error prone.

This, not needed anymore just register all your plate numbers on the EZPass site. Oh, and even works when not running a front plate.
