I love the look of a lowered car, but OE suspension just seems to work best for me. I've done conservative suspension stuff several times in the past - some aspects are better, but other aspects are worse -- ie ride, dampening. Overall package seems to end up worse (although it always looks better!). YMMV.

Told myself that if I ever dropped again, I would go just go coilover.

I installed the TechArt springs on my 991.1 C2S. I'm really happy with the ride comfort. Its really subtle, but I'd almost say that the ride is better than the stock springs as crazy as this likely sounds. On the other hand, the springs lowered the car a little too much from an appearance standpoint. I realize that's highly subjective though. I think the lower ride height would make more sense if it had aftermarket wheels on it.

One thing I'll point out is that the moment you lower your car, you'll want to be prepared to get spacers. Before I lowered it, I had 5mm front and 7mm rear from ECS tuning spacers already installed. The setup looked fine to me. After I lowered it, the wheels looked like they were really far recessed. I've since changed my spacers to 10mm front and 12mm rear (I have 305 tires).

I'm planning on upgrading to something different like the KW Haas setup later.

A picture right after lowering with the 5/7mm spacers

On KW adjustable springs, could go much lower. Ride and performance is great.

Are these the Techart Sport Springs.? Will they fit my 4S?
