Anyone know how hard it is to take the stickers off?

If it's easy to take off the stickers and you can get 10-15 off, the price of the car seems more reasonable.

Easy for them to come off.

Isn't the upcharge already like $14K for the cosmetics? Didn't add it up or look into it.

Yeah, the upcharge was US $14845.

I'd worry that you might still have visible artifacts from the stripes after removal... not that I'd personally consider buying such a car and doing that. I wouldn't bet that Porsche waited the typically recommended 30+ days for paint outgassing to stop before applying them (unless they use special hardeners to accelerate that). We've already seen occasional reports of cars that have had to deal with outgassing-related artifacts from the shipping vinyl they stick on them... although it seems those are typically able to be removed with clay and/or light compounding.

Ouch! You do get the steering wheel with center marker though!!

I'd be a bit nervous about the stickers too a bit for reasons mentioned.

As I started reading this thread I was thinking, "What is that purple and yellow car..." so thanks for posting it!

Yeah, there have been a lot of special edition Corvettes over the years but that pace car was the worst IMHO.

Is convinced this is more rare than a 918, R, or RS with those going 2-3X MSRP.

Even the RS's are down to $40K over or so.
the next customer who attempts to make a rational offer to him will be flatly denied and the seller will justify it by stating he's already received an offer $100k over msrp.

I flat out told him he had zero chance of even getting anything over MSRP for it. In fact, he'll lose $$ after the sales taxes he's paid!

I'll keep you posted. He keeps emailing back.

The sad part is, he really believes he's scored the jackpot here. He said he even laminated the window sticker and PCNA letter.

I think the seller is actually the world's greatest Porsche enthusiast community Troll and isn't serious at all. Bet his name is Marv.
