OP, just remember, that's a Porsche leaked time, not a publicly verified time. Do not compare it to publicly verified times of other Porsche's that weren't being driven by a professional race driver who lapped 50 times in perfect conditions until they got the best time possible...
This ^^^^^^ And, who cares?

You lose your warranty if you change tires to optional corsa tires? Hmm...

TTS 7:18
GT3RS 7:20
GTS 7:26 street tires
GTS 7:22 corsas

12 sec faster than old car, I think it all suspension, "active suspension management", sounds alot like what TPC does with the pasm box in their DSC program.

^^^Good Point---I still tend to prefer the analog feel and overall experience of the NA motors----digital (turbo) may provide superior objective numbers---but subjectively I like the NA experience----Lower lap times do not equal a better car....

I keep 911's in my garage because they deliver a real "driving experience" at 50MPH or 90MPH----I gave up on BMW M Cars many years ago because their feedback and feel was just too sanitized----so quiet and not much fun until well past safe driving speeds---AMG's are more fun---mostly because they have loud exhausts and rough suspensions--again---an "inferior" suspension delivers a better experience.

The 911R will be slower because it has a NA motor and a manual transmission ----but many , including me, don't care it is slower....it delivers a much better driving experience---

BTW---I have not driven a 911R---just previous generations of gt3 with a manual transmission---

Cheers

7:22 vs 7:28 for the GT3-RS, with the N0 Pirellis! Right there with the Z06.
That grunt really pays off at the ring.

I assume you're referring to the C6 Z06 given that the C7 Z06 has not been tested.

The difference is that for the C6 Z06 there is a video with full telemetry. We also know who was driving the car and that he is not a pro. The porsche claim is, as usual, supported by no data.

Where are you getting 7:28 for the RS? The link you posted shows 7:27 and that's a 2011 RS. The 991 RS clocked a 7:20, without a professional race driver.
