for doing 33 in a 25. I was in Sport-Manual mode so I was certainly being loud. It jumpstarts your heart at 6:30 in the morning. Just glad the guy didn't jump out in front of me.

8 over in a 25 is a lot. But you knew this already. Probably a school zone or a residential area. Our cars look fast and sound fast, even when parked. Haters are gunna hate.

So did I. Not this morning, but for going 28 in a 30 zone. Not a typo. Had pse on so guy must have thought I was speeding.

This has happened to me three times but I live in a very condensed residential area with tons of foot traffic and kids. It is actually hard to break the 25 mph speed limit because there is a stop sign at every block.


I run with PSE, Sport + mode always and my 981 looks like a Ferrari to the novice. (because it is red with a horsy emblem on the hood. - lol)


On the third instance, I gave some lip back and told the 25 year old (screaming bacnhee telling me to slow down) that I was not speeding but my exhaust is just loud. She frowned and humpfed and went along her way. I was going 15 mph approaching a stop sign and let off the gas in first gear. You guys know what that sounds like.....pure gun fire.

I generally don't run PSE through my neighborhood (25mph speed limit, I never go above 30, ever). But once in a blue moon I might leave it on in Sport mode, but only in the late morning/early afternoon when there aren't as many folks milling about...

Yesterday at Lowes I get in the car, get bluetooth connected and start bumping some tunes and then I thought I pushed the Sport button but accidentally pushed Sport+ and took off. I scared myself when the car leaped out of my parking spot and wound up in 1st gear just to come to a stop a few feet away. I could hear the thoughts from folks in the parking lot.... "that *******"

Not for the first time, I had someone scream at me a few weeks back as well, doing 25 in a 25 but in Sport mode with the PSE orchestra playing along.

As already said our cars just LOOK fast and a lot of people assume they are going fast.

There is a long street that my cul de sac is off that's marked 35. There is a wide pedestrian path on one side that borders the lake. It is always crowded with people.

I often cruise on it under 35. If I have the PSE on, I still get dirty looks.
