For those cracking on Costco, you probably have never used them. So you think "discount warehouse, that's like buying expired cookies from a dollar store" This is far from how the tire center at Costco is. The Costco tire center, all they do are tires and batteries. They don't repair cars, the don't do diagnostics, all they do is tires. They don't even do alignment, just removed, install, and balance. If you have an indy shop you trust and treat you right, go for it. I'd rather support a local business than Costco myself, but I haven't found that good indy shop yet. Changing tires is not rocket science, you don't need fancy computers or equipment to do it. You have machine to pop the tires off, put them back in. Then fill with air and put on the balancing machine and done. As for "Costco mechanic overtightened my wheel"... well, that can happen anywhere, even at a local shop. If the mechanic is going to crank it with the impact wrench and not tighten at the end with to torque wrench, that's the mechanic's fault. I've gone to a few different Costco, and a second person that comes to inspect the job is always the one that finishes the tightening with a torque wrench. The only knock I can have for Costco is you probably won't be getting a "N0" rated tire for the Porsche, but just whichever rated tire they have. For most road 911, and not track 911 drivers who would go beyond normal road driving, I think any PS4S will do for every day driving.

I go to Costco for canned chicken. They have a great product. They are sold in a 6-pack. Yum.

This I can agree with. I probably would not go to Costco either if I had a center locking wheel. I'm talking for standard 4 - 5 nut or bolt wheel that just requires a standard impact wrench and torque wrench I have no problems with going to Costco. Then grab a $1.50 hotdog combo... haha

I just ordered a set for my car and my new wheels (once they're completed).

I went with 255/35 fronts and 315/30 rears. Wheels are 20x9 et45 and 20x11.5 et71 rears.
I also submitted my $120 rebate already. These should be a nice improvement over the stock Pirelli tires.

Just had the dealership put on a new set of four PS4S for $2200. Included alignment and balance. Expensive---it's all relative, isn't it.

That's about a $600 alignment job over having tires done at a tire shop. I haven't done an alignment at Porsche, so that might be a good deal.

The MP4S I had installed Dec '19 on my '17 C2 are wearing well. Job was done by the local dealer in Tampa, Reeves. Tires and alignment was $1,962, out of which $220 was a four wheel alignment. Very happy with them for daily use, especially in the wet.

I just had PS4S installed on my 2017 C2 with 19" wheels. I am disappointed with how stretched the rears (only) look. I have not had a chance to google more images. Is this typical for this tire, and is it ok or could there be something funky with this particular set? Tire size is stock 295/35/19 and the previous Yokohama Advans were "squared off" all round.

That doesn't look right for sure. You probably should have gone 305. Its possible the side protector is giving it that stretched look either way I'm sticking with CUP2s

I've had some time to run in the PS4S tires on my new wheels and they feel very good! Much better than the stock Pirelli's.
Specs:
20x9 et 45 with 255/35 fronts - I might add a 3mm spacer
20x11.5 et 71 with 315/30 rears

I'm going to have the entire car lowered just a little bit more (B16 coil-overs). I' loving the wheels too! I did NOT want another split spoke wheel design that every body makes right now. I'm interested in different and my own design. LOVE IT! I'm going to do a full write-up on the wheels and brakes too.
Funny enough, I ordered the tires prior to the new GT3 being released and turns out I'm running essentially the same sizes (although I think the new GT3 is on a 21" rear.
There is zero rubbing, even with the wife and two kids in the car.

I think that rear tire in 295/35-19 size is a Mercedes-spec tire. That might why the contour is less aggressive than the front.

By the way, how is the road noise with the Michelins compared with the Yokohamas?
