Maybe you guys should start reading your own news in your own city.
A friend of mine got beatup violently in LA, after a concert. He did nothing. 4 guys just decided to give him a beating. He jumped off a bridge to escape and broke his legs.
He never had a problem being in Mexico, ALL HIS LIFE, since he is Mexican.
Frankly, people in the USA are more violent and more rude than other countries. SORRY, but its TRUE.
Maybe Franko has the right idea. I found this in an article in Automobile Magazine:
"The name Carrera itself is a reference to the Carrera Panamericana, a Mexican road race where the small, agile 356 and 550 Spyder models performed very well in 1954."
Fascinating thread. I love going to Mexico with my toys. Don't know if I would take a 911 down there though.
I get taunted from time to time when I drive through the local towns about my quads/truck. Doesn't scare me but it does get quite annoying when you're trying to eat and you notice a few sketchy ***** staring at your stuff and slowly inching closer and closer.... OR the beggars that approach you for cash.. OR the guys with a bucket filled with nasty water and a formerly yellow but now black microfiber towel trying to "wash" your car/windows. You know they're taking a peek as to what you've got inside.
Can't trust em.
When you're high off p***y, you're high on life.. Everything is ok and will make you smile.
Just be careful brother. It sure does sound and look life fun.
I always used to say it was A-O.K. in Mexico(still is for the most part) and that the cops don't harass you but I've been robbed by the police twice in one trip ($90 and $45 plus cash from friends). Also been once pulled over and asked to step out of the car. 4 Cops trying to play good cop/bad cop. One challenged me to a fight when he saw some hockey gloves hanging from my rear view.
I recommend everyone to visit Baja California and a super safe good hotel to stay at is Rosarito Beach Hotel! Bring your 911 and have fun, don't worry!
I see 911's leaving TJ all the time! Even 991.2, Cayennes etc..
There is plenty of girls here to go around, if your into their type.
I got 2005 Cayenne S that I drive around within the city now. Their really nice cars I must say, and mine now has 228K and still drives great! But the gas mileage is horrendous! 14 average
