Yep. Same body. You can spec a C4/S to look very close to a GTS.

im sure im in the minority but i really like and prefer the NB v. wide. it doesn't have the lower side sills, cleaner rear design etc. my 991.1 S w/ power kit sunroof delete has to be one of my fav cars of all time. me id spec an S w power kit over a GTS all day long just to get the NB.

Same here. The narrow body is plenty wide for me. The wide body looks very odd to me from a 3/4 front angle, whereas the narrow body looks great to me from any angle. Personal preference though. Kinda like color.

$149.5 .. ha bargain - I re-spec'ed my .1 GTS cab this morning on the
configurator - came out as $164,xxx!
When I was shopping my .1, I was thinking about a wheel swap if I got the GTS, but that's another $5-10k on top of the cost of the car, and I much prefer stock. It just didn't make any sense.

The only question I have is whether the real world performance gap is widened compared to the .1. That would be the only thing that would make me consider the .2 GTS. In the .1 it was pretty negligible, so it was all about whether one preferred a widebody or narrow body and was willing to pay for it.

Honestly, I wish they offered a narrow body C4S with powerkit...

I like both the standard and wide bodied .2 but I chose to keep it on the ~100k pricepoint... another reason on why personally not opting or splurging for the S version. As you can see below, the standard body 991.2's are still quite attractive & stunning whether a Carrera or Carrera S model.

I love them both, especially since the standard body of the 991 is by no means narrow. It's plenty wide and still has a beautiful silhouette. I have the wide body but would be perfectly happy with the standard width as well.

Plus it would be lighter, too!

(I love both the narrow body and the wide body...BTW.)

Just for fun I was checking out the GTS options and comparing to my 991.2 C2S with all the performance/handling options except ceramic brakes. Gotta say I am pretty happy with what I've got. Only real performance difference is the 30 extra hp, but since my C2s already makes 420 I am satisfied with that. Also count me in as one who is happy already with the width of my car. So at first glance is seems that the GTS is not the deal that it once was. Pretty sure it would still hold resale value better than a non GTS though.

I like the narrow body too, so there may be more of us than we think. I still believe the forum majority are big booty backers.....

I did essentially that this fall - used the comparative logic to go from a well optioned C2S to a lightly optioned TT and then before it locked I had a well optioned TT incoming.

It's a slippery slope but a lot of fun to fall down the rabbit hole!

The CL's look quite stunning in person, IMO much nicer than the 5-lugs, but to each their own.

Right now, to order the S that I want I am at $131,905.

If I build a GTS the same way it comes out to $142,250. (No Alcantera No GTS interior, No SD exterior)

For the extra $10,345 I get CL wheels (which I don't really want), CF interior trim, black exhaust tips, a GTS sticker on the door, 30 more HP, and wider hips.

If I add the CF trim to the S the price difference is $8,355 or $1990 less which is exactly what the CF trim costs. So even though the CF trim is included in the GTS package, Porsche is not discounting it.

Even the Sport Design exterior is not included with the GTS, it cost an additional $1500 if you want those bumper covers and rear.

Fun little comparison, of course YMMV depending on options.
Indeed the GTS did not includes the whole SportDesign Package but it did includes the SportDesign Front Fascia, which is a $2990 option on the Carrera S.

The $1500 SportDesign Package on the GTS only add the rear mini duck tail.

GT3 CLs yes, GTS CLs not so much.
