How does PCA handle a CoA where the options list exceeds the available space? Do they just leave off options or add a second page? The typical CoA has two columns x 18 lines per column.

Curious (and esoteric) minds want to know

I have absolutely no idea, but if you really want to know, and want the info. from the horses mouth, try an email to:

coa@porsche.us

or directly call 1-800-Porsche

The COA for my 991S fit all the options on to one sheet - smaller font size, I think, two columns.

Okay, I just checked it, 27 lines in four columns, landscape format. Signed by Klaus Zellmer.

27 in four columns. The COA for my first 991S (with less options) had two columns, portrait format.

Fascinating. I've never seen a landscape layout before. Thanks for sharing.

Not exactly. My CoA has 35 separate line items stated on it under 'options.' This doesn't include the CXX options which are included under a single blanket statement.

If I had run with the free cargo net on the passenger side (intentionally deleted) and one more option, say a rear wiper, the list would have surpassed the layout design. Porsche would have needed a second page or a smaller font or simply an incomplete list of options (which wouldn't make sense).

So my question is really for someone with an obscenely optioned car with an options list that is 37 or more separate line items. Any one out there with such a CoA?

I may only need an SOA...................

stamp of authenticity, all my options should fit on a postage stamp.

Haha Brilliant post! To each their own, JustBud. I was spec'ing out a car I plan to keep forever so I deliberately went hog wild. In a different time and place, I might very well go for a bare bones interpretation. There are no wrong answers in PorscheLand. Cheers, mate.

How does one get a CoA?
I bought mine new out of State but did not receive such document.
Does this mean that my car was assembled south of the border with Chinese parts?
Oh the horror!

Around $100 if you order directly. I've seen coupons for 10% off in at least one magazine in the past. Bought one for my 993TT a decade ago.

The CoA for my '16 GTS Targa was a gift from my dealer.

Fair to say no Chinese parts are in your car

For my first 991S, I ordered one through PCNA. I bought it used and didn't have the window sticker so having the COA was important to me.

For my current 991S, I also bought it used, CPO, and the dealer still had the original window sticker which I greatly appreciated. After about a month, I received a nice box in the mail that included the COA.
