It's been several weeks since I took delivery of my first P-car and I must say it was worth the wait. It's funny how minor irritations like the wrong interior color, no PSE, and no paddles on the steering wheel quickly fade away. I actually don't mind the buttons. As for PSE, yeah, it would be nice. But on a Carrera S it opens up at 4K RPMs and that's usually where I keep it. This is a weekend driver for me so gas mileage is the last thing on my list.

So what have I done thus far? Not a whole lot. Changed the oil/filter. Changed the air filters to K&N. Done this on every car I have ever had. Habit at this point. Bought the Durametric for resetting service intervals. I was also able to verify the mileage from the logged hours. 58 hours of usage in 4 years. Crazy. Waxed the wheels as the amount of brake dust coming off these suckers is unbelievable. That's pretty much it. No modding for me. I'm keeping it factory.

Thanks again for all of the suggestions. Hot For Sale is the ticket.

sessionstu's C2S I had posted on HFS. Only 5K miles! Was a SWEET find.

As far as PSE goes, an EASY add on.

Very happy for you! I do like that interior color. Enjoy! BTW, why go with a PDK, sounds like a leftist Kurdish movement of some sort...manual would have been better..JK....I love my PeoplesDemocraticKupplung!

Great looking car. Silver is always a classic look. Loving the platinum semi-gloss (satin) wheels

As most of us are finding out, if you hold out for a manual, favorite exterior/interior color combo, or PSE, it's going to be 2018 before you're driving it. If I feel like changing gears, I'll drive my Harley. Ha, ha. Besides, in Florida everything is flat and straight. The roads are congested with tourists and seniors. Not the greatest place to open her up.

Congrat's, gorgeous car.

Be really careful with oiled K&N's (or any oiled filter) on modern Porsche's... Bad things happen when the mist/vapor gets deposited on the intake sensors.

I also run K&N's on my motos and other old-school vehicles, but they don't get along with some newer vehicles.

Dry K&N's and other dry filters are fine.

Congrats on a great find. Love the color combo and the build. Also, can relate to the Harley (Road King for me) and FL (straight and flat) analogies. I live to head north!

Congratulations on your HFS find. Looks great. Welcome to the club and Enjoy the ride! Like the rest of us, you have your dream car, but for some weird reason, the HFS thread will keep drawing you back for more.

Congrats on the car. I'm one of those seniors here in Florida.

Any senior driving a 911 is cool in my books. Next time I'm over in Tampa I'll keep my eye out for a white Carrera 4S. I lived in Tampa for a couple of years. Don't recall seeing too many 911s there. Before that I lived in Aventura. Guys there buy 911s for their mistresses.
