Merry Christmas and Happy Hunukkah to my new Rennlist extended family!

^^^^^
Bemo, your car's looking dope my friend.

Getting mine back this week, let me know if you're around and want to get a coffee one morning (probably taking most of the week off).

Benson Lamb you're Carmine Red looks hot too. Quite festive.

While away getting pampered for the past couple weeks I've had Dave (over at ButziGear in Milford, CT) remove all lettering from both rear and sides of my black chariot. I plan on leaving the back space blank for a while to see how I feel about it. In the end I'll likely add back either "Porsche" or "Carrera" (old school).

I have the window sticker and build sheet as an $890 additional option so the original buyer spec'd and paid for it. Is there a way to know for sure? If you look at Bluehorseshoe's pics, there appears to be a similar gap as well but I believe he has spasm too.

Porsche must have a ride height spec you can check. Playing with Photoshop your car looks 10 to 20 cm higher. I made a line across the top of the side skirts and you can see there is more spoke exposed in the highlighted zone on your car.

. Beautiful car, just needs lowered !~)

^^^Bkuehorseshoe - your car looks great, can't wait to see Butzigear's work!

Rambler - not sure how to know/check about SPASM for sure but the above photoshop pics look pretty damning.

Next time we get together we'll measure the distance between the top of the tires and inner fender and know for sure. Next, you may have to demand that Porsche retrofits spasm for free due to the "false advertising" on the build sheet.

Up for a ride next week IF the weather is decent, go ahead and make fun of me, I don't care!

Rambler could this have anything to do with your GTS being a 4? Your car equipped with SPASM or no?

Possibly, not sure if ride height is any different on 4s. Could also be the angle of the surface from my pics. For example, if the surface had a decline on the other side, it could be lifting the fenders creating more gap. I'll measure the gap from my garage where I know the surface is flat.

Here's our cars together and they look about the same from these angles. (My car C2GTS SPASM, clear reflectors.)

Honestly, it would really upset me if I didn't have spasm. This was of of the must have options for me so to learn I didn't really have it would keep me up. I guess I would have to trade it for that yellow one for sale in Maryland!

Anyhow, I've been itching to take it for a drive, it's been sitting for a couple weeks. I was happy to see that the recent rain washed away a lot of the salt on the roads but then they resalted the local roads right after the rain stopped. But no way I can wait until April so I'm ready to drive it and just try to keep it as salt free as possible. Let's try to get together a day this week, sounds like a few of us have some time off to meet up.

Just picked up this '16 GTS with ~2k on the clock. We'll see how long I can keep it stock.

Wonderful machines these are.

PASM Sport Suspension option, 890$, was not available on the C4s, Cabs and Targa's. That is why your car sits higher.

IIRC, that is true of all Cabs and Targas but not of C4 Coupes. Sounds like you're saying all C4s, all Cabs and all Targas are PASM only, no SPASM. Am I misremembering this?

I thought the C4s didn't get the option, but now I am not sure.

C4s have the option, including the 4GTS which mine has.
