ah well... i don't think mine has it.. i looked up the VIN and the prod date is 2012-06-01 ... if was only better at heel and toe...

No kidding! Rev matching while leaving the freeway offramp is easy enough, but breaking under hard pressure while also rev matching is an entirely different thing.

It may be my imagination, but I find that upshifts are smoother too. The revs seem to hold a little longer while the clutch is depressed.

Not your imagination, my 991.2 manual does it as well.

The engine management apparently “blips” the throttle (though only lightly) on upshifts, this smooths the engagement. Probably helps the longevity of drivetrain and improves ride.

Default Sport Chrono Manual

I have gotten PDK many times for loaners, sometimes for a couple of weeks. For a sports car get a manual. You have to control the car and get more involved in how the machine works. I just love the experience.
