Duck or no, thoughts please
Ok, ageless question, I have a 2013 4s coupe platinum silver and am thinking of adding the duck this off season. Wife says no, im on the fence.
What does everyone think? How much am I looking at total, $2700 range?

If I was to answer before owning a 911 I would have probably said yes. I looked at a few and like the design (my wife also said no) but now that I own one I prefer the sleek look of no tail so I'd say no.

I love the style of the Duck, but I'm more into aggressive performance & styling , so I'm going for a Techart Type 2 spoiler even though it costs a little more. As far as the price you listed, from what I've seen that should cover everything including paint and install.

My thoughts on the duck are that be happy with what you already have. The 991 is beautiful with and without and each will stir up envy of the other. At times when I wish I had the duck, I often revert back to the classic curves of the rear without a tail. If you find yourself getting a strong case of duck envy, gloss over some pics of the 911R.

I already have the sport design front bumper, so that isn't an issue. my car came with that as an option selected. im totally on the fence..love the look of a spoiler, etc but also like the classic look.

It boils down to what you like, and if the wife says no or NO, or NO!!. With the TTS I guess I sort of have a mini duck thing going on. As the article points out there is a history to them.
