If I loved that build, I'd be interested around $90-92k. But I don't love that build.

As you can tell, opinions vary. This looks to be a great deal with CPO.

It is the best color based on scientific data.

C'mon guys! It would be in the own best interest of all of us existing 991.1 owners to try to argue this as high as possible. Let's keep these market prices up there!

There are much better deals out there. How about this one? Brand new '16 C2S, SPASM, PCCB, SC, PSE, SportTechnos, etc., asking $108k ($19k off sticker), so it could probably be had for less.

There are a number of new leftover '16s out there for about $20k off sticker. I'd be knocking a lot more off for a used 2015.

Man, this is prolly my ideal set up with great price except that it's manual. Would manual not help a car when you try to trade-in / flip it? (Btw, I love silver)

What would be a good way to look for these deals? Porsche does not offer search fxn for new inventory.

If it's a manual they've retrofitted a PDK shifter into the center console.

There. Your only excuse for not buying it is gone. It's a PDK. Post pictures when you take delivery.

Like smaug says, this car is definitely manual.

Simple:
Go to your local dealer and let them know what you want i.e. 2016 Carrera S. Let them know you you prefer a local purchase. They will search the inventory right there for you.

Ordinarily if you decide to proceed they purchase the car at invoice and sell it to you for a discount. Plus they charge $700 extra for shipping. Plus that local dealer has to similarly give up any car on their lot of the other dealers choice at invoice.

I tried this twice because I had a trade involved.
Both dealers were able to locate the cars without disclosing the dealer. But indirectly from the conversation and a little search on google you will know where the car may come from. I did not end buying those particular cars because the first one got a deposit before I did. The second one did not offer a favorable value on my trade.

I am not sure how this will work on these leftovers at 20%, but maybe you can try and at least see what's out there.

LOL, okay I just went back and looked at the pictures and I thought I was going crazy! Because last night, before I posted that I had clicked on the ad and read the description ("7 Speed") and thought, hmmm, doesn't say manual. So I just clicked on "360 interior" and it clearly has a PDK. So I never bothered to scroll over to the still shots of the interior. Obviously the video is not an interior of that car!

My experience with new cars is that there is a dealer exchange involved, rather than a purchase unless of course the car has been punched.
