Have SPASM on the GTS two wheel drive with SD spoiler as well. Live in the NYC suburbs. Normal mode is very compliant. Rides great over bumps. Family thinks it great. S+ The kidneys start to release those lost stones hung up in the urethra. Makes for a good discussion over a drink. Wouldn't have it any other way though.

Just bought a C2S with spasm and have put around 500 miles on it. Love the handling and ride height. Ride comfort does leave a little something to be desired as expansion joints and the occasional highway ridge do result in a decent wallop (that doesn't happen in my Audi S4). That said I feel it's an excellent ride/handling tradeoff for a performance car. In my limited use I haven't had much issue with scraping the front spoiler.

Cheers,
NF

Thanks for the responses guys. Helps a lot. Being a performance oriented driver, I think I would miss SPASM, so I'm going to add it to my build before it locks.

On another note, even though I like the lowered look of a car with SPASM, I'm not a fan of the front lip with SPASM, because the SPASM front lip sticks out more, and sticks out unnaturally in my opinion and isn't nicely integrated like a GT3. This is one reason I hesitated about SPASM.
Even though I realize this will slightly alter the downforce, I think I will order the car with SPASM, but once I get the car I will then switch out the plastic/rubber SPASM lip, with front lip that goes on a regular 991.2. The slight decrease in downforce on the front won't matter anywhere but driving 10/10th at a racetrack, but the front end will cosmetically look a lot better IMHO.

I have SPASM & aerokit on my 991.1 C4S on northern side of LA and daily my car. I don't have front axle lift.

I am quite routine with my normal daily activities and do not have a career where I'm driving around to strange places like a realtor. I did tailor the standard places I go to prevent any issues. I have a preferred gas station I always go to, one specific grocery store etc but am also driving all around LA without issues..

You're going to like the rear wheel steering, I'd suggest to go for it with SPASM.

No problems for me w/SPASM. Have scrapped once or twice in about 10 mos of ownership but mostly extreme departure angles and such. Never bottomed out though and if you watch it then you can avoid almost all of those situations entirely. Black Sport spoiler is also like $300 and easily replaceable so no worries there. Now that I have gotten a Sport Design bumper I am a bit more careful but even still not much of an issue. Ride is excellent...no complaints. Great option.

No problems and no regrets with SPASM on my 2015 991 GTS. I also had it on my 997 GTS. The only way to go in my opinion.

Another yes for SPASM...I have it on 16 GTS, never scraped the bumper but on few occasions the little plastic flippers under the front bumper.

Love spasm on my 2015 C2S and its a daily driver... but you'll scape the front no doubt.

No regrets.

Pros:
Nice Lower Stance with Aggressive Looks.

Mostly (90+%) a nice firm comfortable ride outside of NYC (<10% in NYC where it can be a bit harsh at times).

I feel much more comfortable in a lower car.

Cons:
Few Bumps with wife spilling the coffee.
Scraping front bumper. (No Big Deal).

In my personal opinion the positive aspects outweigh the negative and the value is great at $890 especially since this is after all a 911.

SPASM w/ PDCC - I love it. Scrape my driveway much more often than in my last 991S (w/PASM) but the ride is fine and I really like it.
