Default FS Porsche 991.2 wheel and airbag

No affiliation....

Not a bad upgrade for $1100 all in with airbag . He has the brown as well

FYI ... no one has figured out the controls for a 991.1.

Look at this on eBay:

I'd love to put this on my '14 Cayenne. Seems like you should be able to do a direct swap from the older style multi function wheel to this one. Only difference is the paddles. And if they're controlled via software, should be an easy fix to the code.

My dealership tells me Porsche doesn't have a procedure for it yet, though. Plus, since it's a diesel, we're not spending anything on accessories until we know its fate.

If you can share any information on the steering wheel swaps, it would be very helpful to a lot of guys here.

Is it just me or do the paddles look very small?

Is it heated? (In the SUVs you always have multifunction, but heat is still an option)

Paddles are smaller, but the throw is a lot shorter compared the the sport. It feels more like the GT3 sport wheel.

As for heat ... ask the seller on eBay .

This is not my wheel....I'm just passing along the deal. I have no affiliation to the seller.

New wheel $1100 ... new airbag $1200

I bought my SD wheel from Shadow993.

He really needs to write a DIY guide with "commonly encountered problems" because he had some great tips

I've just bought this setup for my car in the uk

Easy swap and the paddles work however the buttons do not

You would need the stalk to control if you had the multifunction steering wheel

I was told Macan airbag won't fit 991. Its a different part number, even for the new style wheel.
