I wonder if our friend "plasti-dip" might not be employed to create a "skin" on the underside of the lip which might help with minor scrapes, and is "renewable" too ...
anyone want to be the guinea pig? (I would but my lip is already scraped to buggery)
I have the AeroCup spoiler. I use a double layer of black Duct Tape on the bottom of foreward most section of the splitter.
I just cut the tape to match the curve and replace it as necessary. Been doing this for more than a year and replaced the tape three times when the splitter takes a hit. Tape gets shredded, but no damage to the splitter.
Easy, remove the two push pins on the ends near the front tires and pull straight forward. Use a nail to push the center pin out the back. Start at one side and work your way around.
I just replaced mine and the push pins come with it. Two of them and it is super easy to do.
Also, consider this....rather that get it painted, since they already come primed....get it wrapped the same color of the car or a color of your chosing.... it is much less expensive and looks just as nice.....3M and others make wrap in the car's color. Like M3C for Carmine Red etc....

Thank you for the reply.
Any pictures with the lid rapped? Can they really get any colors? (Mine is agata grey)
