Like me you probably heard about this new model with a central positioning of the engine!

I know this car will be a racing one but the question is do you believe this new architecture could also end up rapidly in the 991 series ?

No. And the 991 architecture already moved our motors more central.

No for 991. No for 992. I would still say not even likely after that as it would blur the lines too much between a 911 and a Cayman.

Spy pictures of next gen 992 prototypes clearly show that same layout as today.

The 911 "street" Carrera's will never be mid engine.
