Default Which car would you pick?

I'm looking at two cars right now and having a hard time picking between the two.

Here is the option list for them

Car 1
600 miles
Non-CPO
14 way
Park Assist Front and Rear

Car 2
11,000 miles
CPO
SPASM
Porsche Entry&Drive
Light Design
18 way seats
Park Assist Rear only

Everything else is the same and the price difference between the two car is roughly 8K which is basically the MSRP difference plus the cost of the CPO for Car 2.

Which would you pick? I haven't actually seen either car because they are in two different geographic locations but from the pictures the condition of the car reflects the miles. I think thats important to note..

Thanks

I'm very anti-used car but if I were to try it--it would need to be from a fellow PCA member. Know anything about the previous owners?

Car 2. No question. You won't care about the mileage when you're driving but will miss the options. Also, car in is an extra premium for miles but that goes away unless you're going to park it for 30 years.

Car 1
600 miles
Non-CPO - with 600 miles.... it sounds like it was used as a demo - I would push for a CPO
14 way - i have these seats and they are wonderful
Park Assist Front and Rear - I refuse to buy a car without front and rear park assist...this option is a MUST

Car 2
11,000 miles - not really high, but it's considered high for a 911. I wouldn't call it a deal killer
CPO - this is good but when does it actually expire?
SPASM - I scrape with PASM, I wouldn't want SPASM.
Porsche Entry&Drive - This is a fantastic feature. It sounds silly, but it's fantastic...but still not important.
Light Design - I have this feature, it's nice but completely useless. I didn't know my car had light design until i looked at the sticker(I custom ordered my car and this came bundled with premium plus)
18 way seats - I have a wider frame, 14 way seats are a better fit for me.
Park Assist Rear only - better than nothing I guess.

2 Seems like the better car ONLY if the warranty is atleast a year or two longer than car 1. Please tell us about the color combos/rims/etc. That will help us a lot.

Both cars are same model year and the warranty on the CPO car is almost 2 years longer as expected.

Both cars are identical in color and every other respect.

I am concerned about scraping, just moved offices where the underground garage entrance is very steep.

I did see a GTS down in the garage would love to know if that scrapes on entry.

With Car 2 being 8K more, you could consider it to be a 8K reserve repair fund if sometime went wrong with Car 1. Maybe put a note under the wipers of the GTS and ask the owner to call you about scrapes.

For me it would be #2, because SPASM and 18 ways are must haves, but it's a personal thing. Though, I wouldn't buy #2 though because I'd never buy a 911 with park sensors in the bumper and I'm no fan of Porsche's version of keyless entry.

That said, have you driven both? Most people either fit the 14 ways or the 18 ways, but not both. I'd decide on which seats you prefer and then only look at cars with those seats.

If both cars are under factory warranty, it's just a matter of what matters to you vs. price. Depending on the in service date, CPO just adds 2 years of coverage since both these cars have such low mileage. Hardly moves the needle.

These cars are so incredibly reliable, and for low mileage cars, a Fidelity or equivalent warranty will add 7 years and 70k miles from the contract date (today) for roughly $2,500. If you need the peace of mind. Focus on the purchase price if car 1 is the right one for you.

I think it boils down to SPASM. I like keyless entry but i think front and rear sensors more.

I had 18 way seats in my Turbo S cab it was fine. Someone above said 14 ways are better for skinner people so I probably fit that profile.

I'd caution you on the 14 way fitment, as it's more than just are you skinny or fat. I'm pretty thin and the 14 ways don't fit me very well. Could be because I'm taller , but I don't know. They weren't uncomfortable, per se, but they were far less satisfying than the 18 ways. Felt like I was sitting on them, instead of in them. Only really noticed the difference when I got a lot of seat time in each, after which I came to loathe the 14 ways.

I have had less trouble from my used cars than my new, in general. Not a thing wrong with it. And all have been from dealers.

Plus the CPO has a better than new warranty and saves a ton of cash.

But we need both buyers so us lay people can get it he pre owned discounts!

What is the condition of both cars? Dings, dents, scratches, scrapes? Tire wear? Wheels/road rash? Interior - stains, marks, wear, etc? Clean car fax on #2, I assume? Non-smoker car?
