I have a trickle charger from Porsche that has a very long thin cord unlike the CTeck chargers.
It has a cigarette end that I plug into the passenger foot well. Its what my Porsche local dealer uses for the showroom cars.

I plug mine in once a week for 3-4 hours and charger goes from orange to green indicating fully charged.

I'm not sure if that's enough or should I connect it more often?
also I start my car once a week to keep it lubed up.

Plug it in, and leave it alone.

Stop doing your weekly start-ups. Unnecessary. Increased wear & tear. Introduces increased levels of combustion byproducts into your oil.

I don't plan on using a fuel stabilizer and was going to idle the car for good hour or so twice a month so I can replenish the fuel. Dealer said not to worry about the fuel but I'd rather not take the risk. Any thoughts/experience in this regard.

Yes I've read all the threads and, as always, there are many opinions...

Unnecessary.
Wasteful.
Properly store it. Don't start it until you plan to drive it again in Spring 2017.

Worry about what?

Nothing to worry about. Just make sure it's locked. In a garage, preferred.

No.

If you have one, plug it in. If not, don't worry.

3 months, yes. 3 week, no.

Why should you even use a battery maintainer/ trickle charger ?????? I have been disconnecting the + cable from my battery every winter for MANY years and reconnect when I am ready to drive again, no problems what so ever......why mess around with all these unnecessary stuff ?

Maybe I am missing something.....Appreciate any comments. ( LexVan?)

Takes less than 30 seconds to plug in the maintainer into the cigarette outlet. Takes you a lot longer to disconnect and reconnect the battery.

Your process has no alarm system. Your car is not secured. Are your doors locked? Is the frunk latched?

One of the main reasons to plug in, is to properly maintain our very expensive AGM batteries. A properly maintained battery will extend the usable service life by at least 2 fold.
