Default Tire / Wheel Insurance

Just got a quote of $1595 from the dealership (Porsche Warrington)
I also have an outside company for $1695 that will cover tire, wheel, windshield, and lost keys.

No deductible. No limit.

EDIT 1:55pm

I forgot to finish my post!
I believe this is very affordable and about half of what I paid to MB Manhattan for my S Class tire and wheel insurance - and that came with a $50 deductible for tire - $100 for wheel.

Curious what would you all do? Go for the $1695 to cover keys and windshield too?

No limit? Cool.

Does this policy also cover curb rash by chance? If so, any limits?

I do not believe so. Just cracked wheels - and blown tires.

I paid around $1,400 for tire and wheel insurance at the dealership and it does not include curb rash. I don't believe many of those types of policies cover curb rash. I have a no deductible insurance policy for glass breakage, from State Farm that would cover cracked windshields with no money out of my pocket.

First off - I will go with the dealers as I only need wheel / tire. I have State Farm and they cover my windshield with no deductible. The policy is for 39 mo - the duration of my lease.
No deductible. No limit. Does not include dent repair or curb rash.

Comes out to $40 a month. Not bad at all.

Here's the quote I got after purchase:

2. Porsche Tire and Wheel protection 5yrs/ unlimited mileage $1295.00 Can now save $300.00
END OF MONTH SALE PRICE !! $995.00

I don't think no limit means no $ limit, instead it refers to mileage. When I asked for the written contract for review it clearly stated $5,000 Limit.

Porsche of Cherry Hill.
They emailed me that special deal.
I did not take the wheel insurance though.

Based on that yours seems expensive for 39 months. I think with some negotiating you can get the price down.

Also did you clarify "Limit" ?

Will need to see the contract. I want everything in writing first of course.

I believe they are, at least mine was, but I wound up getting a refund on the unused portion when I traded in my car.
