What happens when you fit a 991.1 with HRE FF01's, AWE Tuning Switchpath Exhaust, TechArt Springs, GIAC Software, BMC Filters & IPD Plenum? Well.... In our eyes - a perfect OEM+ 991 C2S!

Our client came to us with his newly purchased CPO 2013 Platinum Silver 991 Carrera S. The car was bone stock but coming from a bit more powerful car, our client wanted a little more power, some sound and a more aggressive look but without breaking the budget he had set! The solution we found him was absolutely perfect.

The combination of the GIAC Software with the IPD Plenum, BMC Filters and AWE Switchpath gave him an estimated 45 HP and 55 TQ at the crank which is a substantial improvement over stock! One of the most noticeable portions however is the much more noticeable amount of torque in the lower end of the rev range. Add that to the intoxicating note that even this car which was equipped with factory PSE was lacking.

Then, the client wanted to add a bit more "Flair". We love going with the TechArt springs, the 15mm reduced ride height was a substantial improvement to the overall look, and pushing the wheels out with the new 20" HRE Flowform (FF01) wheels finished in satin charcoal (FOG) completed the overall look. We mounted them to the OEM 235/295 setup but suggested to the client on the next round of tires, upgrading to the 305's in the rear really would be the final piece of the puzzle. Then adding the AWE Tuning Wind Diffusors to get rid of the annoying wind noise inside the cabin with the windows rolled down was a must as well!

Overall the car came out beautifully in our opinion and the client was extremely pleased.

Had the opportunity to see this car and meet Alex and the crew at TAG while getting springs installed on my cab. Amazing ride with a sweet choice of mods. I'm now a believer in the switchpath exhaust after seeing and hearing this thing in person. I'm pretty sure i'll be back very soon.
