Wow! Reminds me about two weeks ago when a deer actually jumped into the cabin of my Boxster S with my wife and I in the car. I am not kidding. I posted it on Planet-9.

Glad both instances were without serious injuries or damage! I almost got my car hit twice in a few blocks today by drivers with the mental capacity of deer.....

Thread hijack. Notice you use Blackvue cam. Assume you mounted near / behind read view mirror. Do you find that it interferes with Radio reception (especially AM), seems to on mine.
PS- I put a polarizing filter on mine and got rid of most of that dash glare.

Tomcatz - yep my BV is mounted behind RVM. I don't listen to AM radio hardly at all, but my FM radio reception was poor even before I mounted my BV. Because of that, I listen to my JukeBox about 97% of the time. Thanks for info on the filter, may be time to get one.

I hit a dear in my wifes mini at about 10mph a few years ago. Thought I killed him or at least knocked him out but As I came to the stop the stupid thing started jumping around trying to get back on its feet. Im eye to eye with the thing and he turns and runs off.
Changed my shorts when I got home.

Good to see you and the deer getting away unharmed. When driving on the faster side of the speed limit in rural areas, I always have it in the back of my mind that deer are present. Unfortunately, you can't predict what they'll do ... it's even scarier on a motorcycle!

Returning from a track day at Sebring years ago in our 928S4 and a dear jumped out at twilight. Just missed it by a hair...could literally see details of his fur. Those big 928 brakes saved us. Anything else we owned at the time and we were done.
