So I tried and tried to get the reflectors off without taking the bumper off but just couldn’t get it! Did any one else’s look like this? It has a center clip that you have to push together and the two outer clips have to be pressed in. Mine is 2017 Carrera

I ended up pulling the bumper. That reflector is from a 991.1 which looks different than my 991.2. Did yours look like the picture in that other thread?

Yep!!! Thanks Bob. That is what mine looked like too. I couldn’t get it off with a trim tool from the outside but I’ve taken the bumper off several times and had to do a filter swap anyways so it worked out!

I followed the instructions in the referenced thread when I did it and the first one was tough but the other one came right out, with the bumper on. I do like the improvement in looks though, especially on my color car...they blend in somewhat on other colors.

Since you do such a nice job painting these do you paint other small items such as emblems and other plastic items?

Always a hot buy! Do you have painted reflectors on your 991 yet?

Do you have them for the 718 Spyder/GT4? I understand they are hard to get out compared to the 991s?
