Nuts - I just ordered a bunch of stuff which is not even here yet.

Thank you anyway it's a nice offer at the perfect time of year.

It's been my experience that they are always having a sale! And if it's not at least -15% wait a few days. Never buy supplies at msrp from any of the online retailers. -20% is a little better than the average especially if there is free shipping no minimum. Only a handful of times will -25% show up.

Another trick is to buy the gift certificates when they go on sale. Typically pay $80 and get $100 - these can be used in conjunction with their promotion du jour and they don't expire.

Porsche Natural leather is semi-aniline, not fully aniline. It does have a protective layer, although is dyed with an aniline dye.

When I spoke with Melissa W at Porsche Exclusive prior to ordering the car, she informed me that it was a fully aniline interior-non coated. If what you saying is accurate, then it would open up a lot of other interior cleaning products. Would you mind sharing your information source?

a really good "how to" video on how to properly polish your paint. Worth watching especially for newbies!

Adams stuff is fine. Best smelling detail spray on the planet. But the more I detail my car & try different things, the more similar all the top brands become - IMHO. Most of the big name products are really really good, Adams being one of them. Optimum, Meguiars, and Menzerna (to name but a few) have a broad product line with excellent offerings throughout. Then you can get into the "house brand" lines (Pinnacle, Blackfire, Wolfgang, McKees 37) which are also quite good. Again tough to make a bad choice. To quote Mike Phillips, "...find something you like and use it!"

I will admit, I have been pretty narrow-focused on Adam's stuff after starting my path down the road of detailing addiction (lol)....which brand in your opinion has comparable items or maybe stronger items in certain aspects of detailing?

Griot's Garage used to have a great one that was very affordable. Get your resin refills in 50# bags online.

edit:
Here: ooooo...better yet, here's one that is unbranded. It will work just the same and cost much less:

I've been adding items to my cart since last night.

Followed your advice from early this thread on leather cleaner and conditioner - great results - thanks!

Any recommendations on which "quick detailer" to buy off the autogeeks site?
