Agate Grey on Agate Grey Leather - any pics?
For those of you who have an Agate on Agate car, would you mind posting some pictures? I'm usually a black leather guy, but want to go lighter this time, but I'm afraid Agate leather might be too light.
TIA!

Agate is among the best interior greys they've ever done. For about two decades I was completely unable to buy a grey interior Porsche because that damn Graphite was so plastic looking. Passed on a 993 in Blue Aqua that I had searched for for 6 months -- everything was perfect except the Graphite Grey interior. And the execution in 996/986 was even worse; just a bland medium grey sprayed over every surface:
Agate is a very nice grey, especially so if set off with the dark dash, wheel and door tops.

Thank you! perfect.
so did you end up buying a car with Agate Grey interior? and what are your thoughts now?

No, I didn't end up buying it, the car that had it sold before I had a chance to see the color in person. I ended up buying a car with black interior, as was my first choice. But, I've since been to the dealer and have seen the Agate interior in person. I would have been happy with it, it was darker in person that in appeared in some of the pictures where it seems light.

Agate interior is not such a common option in the UK, though there are some cars with the pebble/agate combination. Here's a few pics from a Boxster (718 I think), I'll be the first to admit it's difficult to judge in the sunlight. The last is agate/pebble from a 981.
