I'm not shocked that an Alfa has been reported as faster than a 991.2.

The LaFerrari is reported as weighing-in at 1255kg.

Played with a 4c today because I loved my Elise and wanted it to be a viable replacement. Neat car, but I doubt they built an M3 fighting sedan that is legitimately faster than a 991 around the ring. Maybe with R comps and a non standard tune....maybe...

its been rumored that Michelin will replace the MPSS with an MPS4S tire next year, which apparently comes pretty close to MPSC2 performance, hence the
need for a replacement for that - so highly likely
